Our client, a professional scientific association located in Washington, DC is seeking a temporary to hire Member Services Associate to join their team!
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 1+ years of customer service or membership experience is required.
- Experience with a membership database is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Strong detail orientation, time management, and organizational skills are required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
The Job:
- Provide excellent customer service to members and assist with inquiries via email, live chat, and inbound/outbound phone calls.
- Assist members with troubleshooting technical member service issues.
- Input all customer and member subscriptions and payments into database.
- Represent organization at events as needed.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
This is a great opportunity that pays $15/hour during the temporary period and would convert to a permanent salary range of $40K-$45K, depending on experience.
