Our client, a non-profit in Washington, DC is seeking a temporary Associate Benefits Manager to join their team for around 4.5 months.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field required.
- 2+ years of professional HR management and benefits experience
- Strong benefits implementation experience and knowledge of HRIS
- Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
About The Job:
- Manage the administration of all benefits plans and activities to ensure effective customer service to employees, retirees, and other plan participants.
- Manage vender relationships for benefits programs, keep record of benefits, and update employee handbook and policies and procedures.
- Administering and keeping track of leave/FMLA/disability.
- Ensure that enrollment, recordkeeping, benefits-related payroll deductions, and payment of invoices occur as scheduled.
- Monitor and analyze benefits costs, plan design, claims data, and vendor relationships and make recommendations for changes.
