Our client, a healthcare association in DC, is seeking a temporary Legislative Affairs Associate to join their team!
About You:
- Must be able to work remotely to start and later on-site in the office.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 1-2+ years of professional experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferably within Word and Excel.
- Experience tracking state legislation is highly preferred.
About The Job:
- This role will be starting remotely and transitioning to working on-site in the office.
- Track and monitor state legislation, conduct research, and draft summaries.
- Respond to member inquiries as needed.
- Assist with creating written communications and advocacy materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
