Our client is looking for a HGV Class 2 driver to join their team assisting customers with the safe transit of their goods to personal locations and businessess. 

 The Role;

You will work with a team of drivers and porters to ensure the safe transit of peoples personal items to various destinations

  • Full Class 2 licence, with no more than 6 points on your licence

  • Dealing with customers face to face and over the telephone

  • Working within a team of 2 to ensure safe delivery and drop off 

  • Safe manual handling of goods, on and off the vehicle.

  • Working on a 5 out of 7 rota, Sundays are a day off.
Hours of work are generally from 1-3am each morning depending on work required for the day.

This is a temporary to permanent position and applicants should apply with this in mind.

 About You;
  • Class 2 Licence with a minimum of 6 months experience.
  • Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to complete lifting of heavy materials
  • Successful applicants should be within a commutable distance of Yate
