Position: Warehouse Team Leader

The Role:
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will work within the Logistics Department dealing with the management of raw materials and component stock to ensure efficient storage, control, and housekeeping.

Main Responsibilities:
• Supervise, coordinate, and support a team of Logistics operatives.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure the team follows best practices.
• Monitor and manage the storage, kitting, and dispatch of goods and materials.
• Ensure stock levels are accurately maintained and recorded in the inventory management system.
• Implement FIFO and monitor product life cycles.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with audits.
• Allocate tasks and monitor team performance to ensure KPIs and deadlines are met.
• Report and investigate discrepancies or damages in stock or deliveries.
• Assist with training new team members and upskilling existing staff.
• Liaise with procurement, production, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse area.
• Support the team on the floor and drive FLTs when required.

About You:
Applicants should have strong leadership and organisational skills, and experience working with warehouse/logistics procedures. You will need to be proficient in inventory management systems and demonstrate a commitment to health and safety.

Required:
• Previous team management experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Computer literacy.
• Forklift licence (training provided if required).
• Good standard of education, with GCSEs in English and Mathematics.
