Position; Warehouse Operative

Location; Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire 

Salary; £12.21 - £12.50 per hour 

About the role;

Planet Recruitment are proud to be working with a fast-growing organisation based in the Milton Keynes area who are looking for a Warehouse Operative. The successful candidate with have experience picking orders, managing stock but also happy to do heavy lifting as some parts will be weighing up to 80kg and will require two person lift. 

Working hours are roughly 40 hours per week Monday to Friday but will involve Saturdays in busy periods. 

Responsibilities;

• Picking & Packing Customers Orders and Preparing for despatch
• Goods return process and Stock Replenishing
• Loading and unloading Vehicles when necessary.
• Communicate with other members of staff on arrival, and dispatch of goods.
• Co-ordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary.
• Responding to and dealing with internal communication by email and telephone.
• Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate.
• Liaising with transport companies.
• Excellent attention to detail
• You will be standing & moving most of the day with elements of manual lifting.
• Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.

Essential experience;

• Basic IT skills such as ability to send and receive emails.
• Degree of physical fitness and able to lift heavy items 
• Ideally a forklift licence of counterbalance or isle master
