Tank Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a permanent Scala Technical Lead for a globally operational client of ours. This role is fully remote and will remain so after Covid 19 has passed. . Due to continuous growth our client is looking for a strong Scala Technical Lead in a hands on capacity to strengthen the technical capabilities of the technical team. To undertake this role you will be required to have a strong background in Scala programming to design and develop products within a clustered environment. Though this is a lead role, you will be hands on and will providing technical leadership to more junior team members as a pose to managing.

Candidates require experience with the following:
- Excellent Scala Programming skills (AKKA HTTP / Cluster / Persistence)
- Experience designing databases (SQL / Oracle 10/11g)
- Demonstrable experience of designing and developing high performance code in Scala within a clustered environment
- Excellent customer facing capabilities (you will be the technical POC for customers)
- Experience in mentoring more junior members (desirable)
- Outstanding spoken and written English
- Strong work ethic
