Community Aged Care Manager - Relocate to Townsville QLD
Salary Package: Up to $96,000 + Super + Benefits
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Community Aged Care Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a community care hub, delivering high-quality, person-centred services that support older Australians to live independently at home. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing care planning, service delivery, team performance, and operational outcomes. You will lead a multidisciplinary team including care partners, carers, and support staff, ensuring services are safe, responsive, and aligned with legislative and program requirements.

About You
- Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Allied Health, Community Services, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, quality standards, and funding programs (including Support at Home, CHSP, NDIS, and others)
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Strong financial and operational management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Current Driver’s Licence and relevant clearances (or willingness to obtain)
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Oversee daily operations including staffing, rostering, service delivery, and reporting
- Lead intake, care planning, and regular client reviews
- Drive a positive team culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and service excellence
- Align local operations with organisational strategy and future growth
Financial Management
- Manage budgets, monitor revenue and expenditure, and ensure sustainable performance
- Track client package utilisation and implement corrective actions where required
- Ensure compliance with funding guidelines across all programs
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure services meet Aged Care Quality Standards, legislative requirements, and best practice
- Manage incidents, complaints, and continuous improvement processes
- Lead audits, documentation reviews, and quality assurance activities
People & Performance
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and supervision to build a high-performing team
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and accountable team environment
