On-Target Earnings (OTE): £45,000+

Are you a skilled Service Technician with a strong mechanical background? Do you enjoy working on a variety of equipment and delivering high-quality service? We’re recruiting for a proactive and experienced technician to join a dynamic service team supporting industrial clients with installation, maintenance, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
Service & Maintenance
- Provide electrical and mechanical services for industrial safety and access equipment including dock levellers, vehicle restraints, industrial doors, and loading bay systems.
- Respond to daily service requests and manage escalations to minimize customer downtime.
- Accurately record service activities, site assets, and future work requirements.
- Promote maintenance services and identify potential sales opportunities.
- Support internal teams with technical reports and quotation preparation.
- Participate in an on-call rota and responsibly manage company tools, vehicle, and stock.
Installations
- Collaborate with technical leads to execute installations aligned with client needs.
- Perform mechanical and electrical installations, testing, commissioning, and handovers.
- Maintain accurate site documentation including diaries and delivery records.
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety standards and site-specific RAMS.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in field service or mechanical engineering.
- Strong mechanical/electronic fault-finding skills.
- Experience with safety equipment such as dock doors, wheel locks, and levellers (desirable)
- Valid certifications:
- Electrical qualifications, eg NVQ/18th edition or relevant experience
- Mechanical qualifications/experience
