Field Service Engineer

Location: M1/M40 Corridor - Ideally based in Coventry, Northampton, Oxford, Slough, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Banbury or surrounding areas
Base Salary: £35,000 – £42,000
On-Target Earnings: £45,000 + Door-to-Door paid travel

Are you a skilled Service Technician with a strong electrical or mechanical background? Do you enjoy working on a wide range of equipment and delivering high-quality service? We’re recruiting experienced engineers to join a market-leading manufacturer. Their service team is renowned for supporting household-name clients with fault-finding, repairs, maintenance, and technical support. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and mechanical support, prodominantly on specialist loading bay safety equipment.
• Assist with installations when necessary
• Participate in an occasional on-call rota and responsibly manage company tools, vehicle, and stock

Requirements

• Experience in field service engineering
• Hydraulic knowledge
• Mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with lifting equipment or similiar (desirable)
• Welding experience (desirable)
