Field Service Engineer – Compactors & Balers
Location: Covering the South East of England
Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Vehicle + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday – No Call-Out, No Weekend Work

We’re looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, repair, modify, and service compactors, balers, and associated machinery at customer sites. This is a front-line, customer-facing role where you’ll be the professional face of the business while ensuring equipment is operating at its best.

The Role:

• Install, service, and repair compactors, balers, and associated hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems

• Carry out preventative maintenance, site surveys, and operator training

• Diagnose faults and provide detailed estimates for repairs

• Maintain high standards of workmanship to ensure excellent customer satisfaction

• Manage van stock, tools, and PPE to ensure you can achieve high first-time fix rates

• Complete all paperwork accurately and liaise closely with service and operations teams

• Promote additional services or products where appropriate

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, plant fitter, or similar

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic fault-finding skills

• Welding experience beneficial

• Organised, methodical approach with the ability to work independently

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Full UK driving licence
