Gi Group Hartlepool have an exciting opportunity with our client a manufacturing and distribution company, currently recruiting a new Service Analyst to join on a permanent basis in a role as part of the service team which encompasses sampling, customer service, stock control and purchasing.

Our client is the holding company for a number of businesses specialising in the development and distribution of carpets and floor coverings throughout the UK. The core business focusses on residential markets incorporating sales to independent retailers, buying groups and national retailers. Their focus is to supply well-designed and engineered products offering value for money and supported by industry leading service levels.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a strong administrator with good organisational and communication skills. A flexible and adaptable approach is essential along with a willingness to learn new skills.

A proven track record in a similar purchasing or stock management role along with competency in Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook and Excel would be a real advantage.

Reporting to the Commercial Director your day-to-day duties as part of our service team will focus on stock analysis and control. Identifying stock trends, rate of sales and sales forecasting to help ensure stock levels are maintained in line with business expectations.

The role will be located in Hartlepool and offers a starting salary of £20,320, which is negotiable depending on experience, working Monday to Friday.
