About the Company: This Midlands-based subcontractor provides a nationwide service to the UK’s construction industry, working in partnership with leading main contractors. With over 20 years’ of experience they understand the challenges faced by their clients. The group consists of three businesses each with its own experienced and dedicated team covering general build, joinery and façades. As a collective these businesses bring in an annual turnover of around £22m and have an order book of £28m over the next 18-months.

 

About the Role: The current commercial team is led by the Group Commercial Manager who has a strong commercial team that assists in the commercial management of the entire groups pipeline, however as the façades business is beginning to see some incredible growth and success, it’s time for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team and take the reigns of the that business unit. Based between the office in Derby and sites across the Midlands, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preconstruction pricing work, submission of applications for payment, contract administration & valuation of works completed by the operatives on site. And as the business continues to grow, there will be an opportunity to grow and manage a commercial team.

 

Remuneration: On offer is a competitive salary of up to £65,000 (depending on experience) + company car or allowance, pension contribution, annual leave + 8 bank holidays, healthcare + additional benefits alongside an opportunity to progress through the ranks and build your own team. It’s worth noting that this company are open to flexible and remote working.

 

Required Experience: To be considered for this incredible opportunity, you will need experience operating as a Quantity Surveyor within construction sector, either main contractor or subcontractor. You will also need a full UK drivers licence and most importantly you will need to be a motivated, hardworking and dynamic individual who can recognise the potential of this growing subcontractor!
