The Company: With over 45 years of industry expertise, this privately-owned civil engineering contractor are one of the UK’s leading companies with a turnover of £100million and employs over 500 people. Specialising in civil engineering, surfacing, drainage, and minor works, they pride themselves on being able to provide innovative solutions to their clients.
Your Role: Operating from the company’s regional offices in Ellesmere Port, as Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be managing a multi-million-pound civil engineering portfolio from cradle to grave initially working in collaboration with the estimating department through to project delivery and handover. In this role, you will be responsible for valuations, variations, forecasting, change control, client liaison, subcontract management, cost management, final accounts, and CVRs.
Your Background: The ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor for this opportunity will come from a civil engineering or infrastructure background and will have experience running their own projects. A relevant degree in quantity surveying or civil engineering is desirable however, the company are more interested in hiring a hardworking and personable individual to join this growing team!
