Role Description: This company are an established national organisation, with contracts covering the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland and over 1500 workers delivering their services. They always put people first and work hard on strengthening their existing and new partnerships. This well-known contractor are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join them in their offices in Liverpool. As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the management and monitoring of both the financial and commercial aspects of works undertaken by the company by advising and supporting operational teams which will include risk management, change management, subcontract management on a portfolio of works where projects will be valued between £2k and £50k. In collaboration with BT Openreach, typical projects will include FTTP works, updating copper cabling, 278 works and other minor civils works. In addition to this, you will be assisting in the management of a small commercial team.
Remuneration: On offer is a competitive salary of up to £55,000 (depending on experience) + company car or allowance (10%), matched pension contribution, 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, healthcare + additional benefits alongside an opportunity to progress through the ranks.
Required Experience: To be considered for this incredible opportunity, you will need experience operating as a Quantity Surveyor within the civil engineering, rail, infrastructure, or utility sectors. It’s also worth noting that they will consider an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is ready to step up.
