Role: Assistant Quantity Surveyor  

Location: Manchester

Salary: up to £35,000 + car allowance

Start Date: As soon as possible

Role Description: This market-leading civil engineering and traffic management contractor are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their successful commercial team in their Manchester offices. The company are going through an exciting period of investment and growth and are looking for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor who has the skills and commitment to grow with the business and progress through the ranks. In your role as Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on a number of civil engineering packages including S278 works, groundworks, drainage and hard landscaping schemes valued up to £2million where you will be responsible for site measurement, valuations, takeoffs, payment applications, subcontract management, financial reporting etc. all with the support of a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Remuneration: On offer is a competitive salary of up to £35,000 (depending on experience) + car allowance, 23 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, pension contribution + additional benefits alongside an opportunity for career growth and development.

Required Experience: To be considered for this incredible Assistant Quantity Surveyor opportunity you will need to have quantity surveying experience working with NEC forms of contract and will be able to commute to central Manchester on a daily basis. Most importantly, you will need to be a motivated and hardworking individual with a strong desire to succeed.
