Senior ADMS Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior ADMS Engineer to take ownership of the operational management, configuration and ongoing enhancement of Advanced Distribution Management Systems within a highly complex operational technology environment.

This role plays a key part in ensuring critical control room systems remain reliable, compliant and fit for purpose, while driving improvements across network operations and system performance. Working closely with engineering, architecture and operational stakeholders, you will provide technical leadership across ADMS design, support, testing, commissioning and optimisation activities.

About the Role

• Lead the design, configuration, testing, commissioning and support of ADMS and SCADA platforms.
• Act as a senior team member for ADMS functionality, including FLISR, Volt/VAR Control (VVC) and Distribution Power Flow (DPF).
• Drive operational improvements, system optimisation and continuous enhancement initiatives across critical OT environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture and operational teams to deliver business and technical requirements.
• Support system administration, configuration management and ongoing platform reliability.
• Participate in a 24/7 support model, providing technical expertise for business-critical operational systems.

About You

• Experience working with ADMS and SCADA platforms within electricity distribution, utilities or other critical infrastructure environments.
• Solid understanding of power systems, electricity networks and operational technology environments.
• Experience supporting complex OT systems, including SCADA, DMS, OMS, RTUs, communications infrastructure and associated platforms.
• Strong technical capability across databases, scripting and system configuration, including SQL, MongoDB and Python.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex technical issues.
• Collaborative stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence outcomes and communicate technical concepts effectively.
