Are you looking to commence your Mechanical Fitter Apprenticeship?
We have an exciting opportunity for a 1st year Mechanical Fitter Apprentice to work with our client who is the leading pump specialist and mechanical service provider in Melbourne, that prides itself on its ability to supply the commercial and industrial industries with high-quality work with high-quality parts. We are looking for a motivated, committed and reliable person who is wanting to gain practical on the job experience, whilst receiving extensive training.
What will you be doing?
- General maintenance on machines
- Taking objects apart, resolving issues and then resolving and fixing them
- Installing booster pumps
- Handling machinery
What do you need for this role?
- Someone who is a team player, trustworthy and great work ethic
- Engineering pre apprenticeship advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge advantageous
- Excellent hand eye skills
- High attention to detail
- Happy, helpful personality
- Ability to work in a team environment
