Are you looking to commence your Mechanical Fitter Apprenticeship?
We have an exciting opportunity for a 1st year Mechanical Fitter Apprentice to work with Visy Industries who are a global leader in packaging and resource recovery, and has been a pioneer in sustainability; manufacturing cardboard boxes with the latest state of the art machinery. This role will see the apprentice learning all aspects of machine maintenance, fitting and part manufacturing We are looking for a motivated, committed and reliable person who is wanting to gain practical on the job experience, whilst receiving extensive training.
What will you be doing?
- Reading drawings
- Following maintenance procedures
- Moving materials, remove/refit machine parts
- Set up machine parts
- Repair and manufacture machine parts
- Set and test machine operation
What do you need for this role?
- Someone who is a team player, trustworthy and great work ethic
- Engineering pre apprenticeship advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge advantageous
- Excellent hand eye skills
- High attention to detail
- Happy, helpful personality
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be double vaccinated
