IT PMO Manager – Inside IR35 – Birmingham & Remote
Inside IR35 / Umbrella - £550 (all inclusive day rate) which may be subject to change depending on applicable legislation or solution through which services are performed.
IT PMO Manager required for our leading customer based in Birmingham. You will be accountable for supporting and implementing the effective delivery of complex IT capabilities throughout the entire product life cycle.
Key Skills,
- Agile and Lean Practices – Identify best processes and delivery methods
- Planning – prioritize high value tasks using data to inform a rationale
- Manage complex internal and external dependencies
- Identify and challenge organisational processes
- Facilitate delivery flow of the team and project
- Manage delivery timescales
- Risk management, business impact analysis and contingency arrangements
- Business and IT aligned governance and assurance methodologies
- Previous experience working in a team that have managed IT portfolio, service delivery or change function
- Develop business case / business benefit reporting
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management
- Clear verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Experience within the rail industry would be highly desirable
Key Responsibilities,
- Provide leadership to project support analysts
- Manage relationship between IT portfolio and delivery teams
- Support functional workforce planning, resourcing and recruitment
- Assurance requirements – identifying critical risk items
- Manage and escalate risks and issues
- Continuous improvement of portfolio governance
