CAD/BIM Specialist – Inside IR35 – London & Remote

Inside IR35 / Umbrella - £550 - £600 (all inclusive day rate) which may be subject to change depending on applicable legislation or solution through which services are performed.

CAD/BIM Specialist required for a leading customer based in London, you are coming on board to take ownership of the definition and management of the CAD collaboration platform in line with the digital engineering strategy.

• CAD/BIM Data Management
• BIM Processes, analysis and improvement
• Data Assurance, Analysis, Integration & Management (practices and governance approaches)
• BIM standards
• System management – permissions and control
• Common Data Interoperability and transformation challenges
• Information & data exchange methods, software platforms and data production
• CAD authoring tools – manage large volumes of data/complex projects
• Develop CAD specification and standards
• CAF cloud based collaboration platform
• Excellent stakeholder management and engagement – including 3^rd party suppliers
• Clear verbal, written and presentation communication skills

Key Responsibilities,

• Manage the CAD collaboration platform and its integration with other CDE platforms
• Provide regular reports and insight of data
• Continually improve the platform based on recommendations
• Develop, test and implement various CAD applications to meet project requirements
• Understand system quality
• Support development of Proof Of Concept within the CAD function
