Oracle Product Manager – Oracle/Cloud/EPM/Inside IR35 – Birmingham

Inside IR35

Oracle Product Manager required for a leading client based in Birmingham. You are coming on board to be responsible for forming the vision for their product and engaging with teams and stakeholders in the development of that vision over time. They use their knowledge of the Oracle applications along with identifying user needs in order to deliver real business benefits whilst working with the Oracle applications management team to set priorities.

Key Skills,

  • Advanced knowledge and experience of Oracle Cloud SaaS products and implementations
  • Deep technical and architectural understanding around Oracle EPM & OACS
  • Deliver product roadmap
  • Hands on experience using Agile methodology
  • Implementation of Oracle Cloud applications – development and management
  • Support and resolution of product defects with Oracle
  • Service management tools
  • Manage the growth and adoption of a large-scale enterprise cloud level product
  • Manage operational process – designing and running a product through its entire life cycle
  • Capture and translate user requirements into deliverables
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management
  • Clear verbal, written and presentation skills

Key Responsibilities,

  • Define, plan, and drive an effective product roadmap working closely with the business
  • Create effective feedback mechanism from stakeholders to build the appropriate backlog
  • Apply prioritisation within the backlog and manage dependencies
  • Manage the process for product release including creation of user stories, UI prototypes and sprint acceptance criteria
  • Manage support requests
  • Update governance standards and guidelines as well as training documentation
  • Convert to the use of Oracle cloud products through workshops etc
  • Understand and manage system quality in regard to usability, availability and fraud avoidance
