Delivery Manager – Inside IR35/Digital– Birmingham
Delivery Manager required for a leading client based in Birmingham. You are coming on board to manage the delivery of diverse small to medium-scale software, IT infrastructure and non-IT projects with the vision to craft a digital ecosystem within the IT department.
This role falls Inside IR35.
Accountabilities,
- Manage digital projects and IT delivery in accordance with our client’s IT standards
- Ensure there is effective co-ordination with stakeholders, the project team and suppliers
- Identify, resolve and escalate risks promptly and effectively
- Work with delivery team to ensure projects are completed within planned cost, timescale and quality parameters
- Excellent planning skills and can optimise speed to market, value and quality
- Identify project risks and blockers
- Project management skills and take responsibility for the definition, documentation and completion of projects
- Stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both internal and external
Key Skills,
- Use tools such as MS Project when creating project schedules
- Produce and present documents and reports to a variety of audiences
- Agile and Waterfall project frameworks with an understanding of when to apply
- Matrix organisations
- Commercial management and procurement in accordance with UK Government
- Manage interface and dependencies between complex technology projects
- Delivering projects with multidisciplinary teams from inception to completion
- Engage with and manage at all levels, internally and with the supply chain
- Have a strong appreciation of the wider business and it’s needs
