Logistics Manager

£35,000 - £40,000pa + Benefits

Role Profile
My client, a well established business across the UK, is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join their growing operation in Lincolnshire. The position will be accountable for the Goods In, Pick and Dispatch operation across the site, as well as continual liaison and management of the transport function to ensure service levels are consistently achieved.
Strong leadership skills are a vital attribute for the successful candidate and with accountability for a diverse, growing team, continued development and coaching is a critical part of the role.

This position is working Monday – Friday on days.

About You
The successful candidate will have experience within a fast-paced distribution operation, ideally within a temperature controlled / food manufacturing environment. You must be able to clearly demonstrate how you create a culture of engagement within your teams and be able to demonstrate clear examples of developing people.
Additionally, the below skills and experiences are essential;

• Ability to work across all levels of colleague and departments being a member of a senior team.
• IOSH, CPC National and other qualifications beneficial but not essential
• Continuous Improvement experience across an FMCG distribution operation.
• Commercially focused, with clear achievements against budgets / KPI's.
• IT Literate - Use of MRP systems advantageous
