Employment Associate 3-5 PQE

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Employment Associate with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience to join their growing and dynamic team. This position is based in our London office and offers the opportunity to work within a highly regarded and entrepreneurial law firm.

1. Handle a diverse caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
2. Provide legal advice and support to clients on a wide range of employment issues, including contracts, discrimination, terminations, and restructurings
3. Conduct research, draft legal documents, and assist with negotiations and settlements
4. Represent clients in employment-related disputes and tribunal proceedings
5. Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations
6. Collaborate with partners, associates, and other team members on complex employment cases

Requirements

• 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in employment law within a reputable law firm
• Qualified solicitor with solid knowledge of UK employment law
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills
• Excellent academic background and a demonstrable track record of managing complex cases
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team and deliver high-quality client service
• Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the workplace and the legal profession

Responsibilities

• Reviewing client queries and providing timely, practical advice
• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
• Attending client meetings and representing the firm at networking events
• Conducting legal research and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment law developments
• Collaborating with colleagues on firm-wide initiatives to promote diversity and inclusivity
