The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a tier-1 contractor on a large and complex main roads project. We are currently searching for an experienced HSE Manager to join the team on a full-time basis. As the HSE Manager, you will oversee a team of HSE Advisors and Senior Advisors and will demonstrate proven experience in Main Roads or rail projects.
The role:
- Site-based.
- Oversee a team of HSE Advisors and Senior HSE Advisors.
- Update and implement documents, processes, and procedures.
- Stay up to date with legislative changes and ensure the company remains compliant.
- Conduct audits, site inspections and walkthroughs.
- Identify and understand gaps in HSE processes.
- Liaise with stakeholders, clients, and contractors onsite.
The Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in HSE
- 10+ years’ experience in HSE-related roles in project work.
- Positive references from previous employers, demonstrating a stable employment history.
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN MAIN ROADS OR RAIL PROJECTS
