Registered Nurse – Rural NSW Travel Contracts

Are you an RN who can comfortably run a shift, make autonomous decisions, and support a small team?
We’re recruiting strong, adaptable Registered Nurses for travel contracts across regional NSW Health sites, including small wards, MPS facilities, and aged care units.

These roles require RNs who can confidently be the only RN on the floor -with AINs/ENs supporting you - while delivering safe, high-quality care.

What’s on offer

• 6–12 week contracts (ongoing extensions available)
• Strong agency rates: $40–$65/hr + penalties
• Free travel & accommodation for the entire contract
• Work across small hospitals, multipurpose services (MPS), and aged care units
• Build your skills: ED triage support, subacute, Aged care, post-acute, acute medical
• A supportive recruiter (me!) who checks in and advocates for you

These contracts suit RNs who:

• Can work independently and lead a small team
• Are comfortable being the sole RN on shift
• Have strong clinical judgement and can escalate appropriately
• Enjoy variety and want to build experience across multiple settings
• Want to explore regional NSW with accommodation provided

What we’re looking for

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• 2 years minimum RN experience (hospital, ED support, MPS, subacute or aged care)
• Confident in working solo and managing a shift
• Compliance-ready: immunisations, WWCC, Police Check
• Adaptable, calm, and able to work in smaller multidisciplinary teams
