Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing building contractor working primarily with local authorities and council clients across social housing, public buildings, and community projects.

Due to continued growth, they’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

The Role

You’ll have full commercial responsibility for projects from initial estimate through to final account, working closely with site teams, management, and clients to ensure schemes are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Experience Required

Proven Quantity Surveying experience within construction
Essential: Local authority / social housing background
Essential: SOR / National Schedule of Rates experience
Strong cost control, variations, and final accounts experience
Knowledge of JCT contracts
Able to manage multiple schemes end to end
