Finance Lead | Early-Stage Advanced Manufacturing / Defence

We're looking for a Finance Lead to build and scale the finance function of a rapidly growing, venture-backed advanced manufacturing company.

This is a true foundational hire. You'll take ownership of finance from day one, moving the business from spreadsheets and manual processes to a professional, scalable finance operation. You'll work closely with leadership on forecasting, cash management, investor reporting, fundraising support, and long-term financial strategy.

What You'll Do

• Build the finance function from the ground up
• Own financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
• Implement reporting processes and KPIs for management and investors
• Manage banking and external financial relationships
• Support fundraising activities, investor relations, and board reporting
• Develop financial models and scenario planning
• Recruit and build the finance team as the company grows

What We're Looking For

• Strong FP&A, finance, transaction services, investment banking, or Big 4 background
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, aerospace, defence, chemicals, or other complex operational environments preferred
• Excellent financial modelling and forecasting skills
• Hands-on, execution-focused mindset with the ability to create structure from scratch
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Fluent German and English

Salary: €80,000–€90,000 + Equity + Bonus
