As a Procurement Specialist, you will take a hands-on role in managing purchasing activities, developing supplier relationships, supporting negotiations, and coordinating contracts across the business. You will help build scalable procurement processes, designed to work within a growing industrial and manufacturing environment. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of materials and services.

Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including requirements, quotations, purchase orders, and delivery follow-up.
- Build and manage supplier relationships, support negotiations, and monitor supplier performance.
- Coordinate supplier contracts, documentation, renewals, and commercial issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and collaborate with finance, operations, engineering, and quality teams.
- Help establish standardized procurement processes as purchasing activities move into a structured procurement function.
- Support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and ensure procurement activities follow company policies and compliance requirements.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven procurement experience in an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, defence or similar high-stakes, high-reliability environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach to solving operational and supplier-related challenges.
- Desirable experience using an ERP system such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics. Experience with procurement process improvement, ERP implementation, or structured procurement controls
