The Role

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, coordinating supplier relationships, supporting negotiations, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services required across the business.

 

Working closely with engineering, operations, quality, and finance teams, you will play a key role in developing robust procurement processes that support future growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing requirements, quotations, purchase orders, and delivery follow-up.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Support supplier negotiations and monitor supplier performance.
  • Coordinate contracts, renewals, and procurement documentation.
  • Resolve supplier-related commercial issues.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Quality.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of procurement processes and controls.
  • Support ERP-related procurement activities, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

 

Requirements

  • Previous procurement or purchasing experience within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, aerospace, defence, automotive, or other technical environments.
  • Experience managing suppliers and supporting commercial negotiations.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

 

Desirable Experience

  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Exposure to procurement process improvements or procurement transformation projects.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations or structured procurement controls.
