A Bristol based GP practice is looking for a new GP Partner to join their leadership team.

Our client is a renowned, inner-city practice, with a further surgery based on the outskirts of Bristol and they operate out of large, purpose-built buildings.

They are innovative, diverse, forward thinking, and respected. They have five partners currently and are looking for an additional partner to continue to lead their growing team.

This will be their first Partner recruitment for over six years, and they welcome applications and expressions of interest.

 

GP PARTNER

The partnership is responsible for two PMS practices, which has a diverse population of just over 21000 patients and another Surgery based in rural South Gloucestershire with a more elderly population of about 4300 patients.  Both practices have a CQC rating of ‘Good’.

Both practices work collaboratively within their respective Primary Care Networks and can offer you an invigorating and supportive working environment with excellent opportunities for career development. The current staffing is as follows:

  • 5 GP Partners
  • 11 Salaried GPs
  • 2 Minor Illness Nurses
  • 2 Physician Associates
  • 3 consulting clinical pharmacists
  • Nurse prescribers and LTC management
  • Large Nursing and Health Care Assistants team
  • Organised Practice Management Team
  • Reception Team trained in Health Navigation
  • Experienced administration team
  • Access to Dietician, Podiatry and Wellbeing practitioner, social prescribing through the PCNs
  • Long established training practice for F2, ST2, ST3, medical students and Physician Associate students

Both practices take an active part in clinical MDT meetings.  Clinicians meet on a daily basis for a scheduled coffee time mid-morning and there is a formal clinicians’ meeting once a month. 

They actively support the Newly Qualified GP Mentorship programme and support will be given to apply for NHS England’s New to Partnership Payment scheme (the Golden Hello).
