Role: Senior Frontend Developer

Location: Oslo

We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our team.

You will work with a Norwegian institution on a journey to digitalise its content offerings. The technical department was founded in 2020 to embark on developing something genuinely new. The flagship product is now used by every major actor in the industry, there is now a project to develop a lite version for smaller firms who may not require every part of the full platform.

The project primary tech stack is VUE3, React.js, TypeScript, Java, Python, Kotlin, GraphQL, AWS hosting and Kubernetes. 

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using VUE3, Vuetify and React frameworks. You will work closely with the product and design team to translate specs into functional web applications.

You will work on:

  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to define and implement new features
  • Discuss the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimising applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging of the codebase
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in web development and JavaScript frameworks
  • Universal accessibility

We are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Vue.js Frontend Developer or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Vue.js framework
  • Familiarity with Git version control system
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs (GraphQL) and how to integrate with them
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
