Our client is a large, multinational aerospace and defense company, in helicopter manufacturing.
It is looking for:
Role: Avionic Technician / Wiring Specialist
Location: Northen Italy
Contract: Contractor, 1 year, renewable
Dates: from January/ February 2026
We are looking for Avionics Technicians / Wiring Specialists with proven experience on AW helicopters. The role involves on-board wiring activities, avionics installation support, and cable integration.
RESPONSABILITIES
- On-board routing and installation of avionics wiring on AW platforms
- Loom assembly, cable dressing, termination and connector installation
- Aeronautical crimping and wiring integration
- Support to installation and removal of avionics equipment
- Wiring interface with avionics systems (navigation, communication, sensors)
- Basic electrical checks (continuity, insulation)
- Work mainly performed on the helicopter, not in a harness shop
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience on AW helicopters
- Strong skills in on-board avionics wiring
- Ability to read technical documentation
- Experience with aeronautical connectors and crimping
- Right to work in Europe
- Familiarity with Italian is desirable
