Our client is a successful international multidisciplinary contractor with a healthy record for winning complex and challenging multibillion dollar packages of work.
We are recruiting Site, Project and Senior Project Engineers for individuals with a background in large mechanical construction projects offered on a permanent, full-time basis.
Typical duties are likely to include:
- Support and assist with the delivery of various mechanical related scopes of work, including organising the operation and maintenance of plants and installations
- Drafting and analysing functional statements, organisational charts and project information
- Developing standards for labour utilisation through work measurement programs
- Determining appropriate construction methods and materials, drafting and reviewing specifications and plans
- Undertaking regular inspections to ensure operational efficiency and strict adherence to regulations
- Work with and manage a broad range of subcontractors including local suppliers
- Work in a multi-disciplinary environment, ensuring integrated construction solutions
- Interface regularly with our internal discipline leads and design teams
- Support and provide technical assistance to our supervisors
- Conduct short- and medium-term planning
- Support with month end reporting, budgeting and cost forecasting
- Ensure overall quality management including all necessary documentation
To be considered for this role:
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a similar role
- A proven history of successfully delivering projects of $10m+
- Relevant experience on complex construction projects
- An ability to liaise with clients, direct staff, and subcontractors
