JOB DESCRIPTION:

ACTIVITIES

  • To ensure consistence and correct interfacing with other areas during the various phase of EPC detailed design, procurement, fabrication, installation and animate dedicated transverse coordination between packages as required to ensure all requirements for Integration activities are complied with (especially with E&C and FOPS)
  • To ensure timely review of documentation produced by FEED and EPC contractors
  • To interface with Field Operations team members in developing SIMOPS and shutdown scopes and associated schedule for site activities - new WHP installation, hookup, commissioning and integration works.
  • Organize and participate to FEED Contractor offshore survey for proper preparation and definition of offshore activities.
  • To assist in launching EPC tenders from preparation of contracting strategy, CFT and bid evaluations including manhours estimate to support technical and commercial evaluation of bidder’s proposals,
  • Promote a “no change policy” to meet budget and schedule constraint without impairing quality and safety of the Integration Works activities.
  • To manage assistance from shareholder specialists (remote head office), when required during all phases,
  • To assist Project Management to compile dossier and make presentation to obtain all necessary internal (validation committees TIF, TAC, CPC, CPAC) and external (Shareholders) approvals for Project contract awards,
  • As part of the CFT process, participate to EPC Contract documents preparation for Construction and Integration scope of work,
  • To manage at FEED stage Construction and Integration studies and Construction and Hook-up Works during EPC phase,including progress follow-up as well as engineering and vendor documentation review, in order to ensure compliance with basis of design, SOR, Company specifications, Corporate standard and HSE regulation, international codes and classification society rules,
  • To promote value engineering during FEED execution with objective to reduce Project capital expenditures,
  • To assist EPC Package Lead with regards to all technical, commercial and contractual issues arising during Integration Works execution,
  • To encourage at FEED and detail engineering stages identification of any optimization / improvement in the design,
  • To ensure that FEED or EPC queries are reviewed and responded to in a timely manner,
  • During execution promote alternative solutions to reduce and optimise the duration for offshore installation,
  • To ensure implementation of the design change process affecting Integration Works activities,
  • To manage potential deviations from the COMPANY referential with the Engineering Manager for final decision on whether or not to implement,
  • To attend HAZID/ HAZOP/ Project Technical reviews sessions with COMPANY, Contractors and vendors teams
  • To ensure close coordination within team on all engineering, constructability and operational matters,
  • To ensure that relevant feedback from previous similar projects are considered project works performance,
  • To setup and manage weekly and monthly meetings with FEED and later with EPC Contractor(s), and call specific ad hoc meetings as required,
  • To ensure Company participation in equipment FAT, SAT and other inspections at site/vendor premises as required
  • To participate to Project reporting (progress and risk),
  • To assist Package Lead in mobilization, organization and management of the team required to carry out the work,
  • To assist defining Work Time Schedule with objective to reduce the costs and optimize the duration and to ensure compliance with these up to Project Close-out,
  • To interface with Project’s other Packages and with COMPANY related entities for brownfield and tie-in works within the existing facilities,
  • Assist the Interface Coordinator in ensuring that all interfaces are adequately defined, monitored and managed,
  • To assist in close out preparation of the all the stages of new WHP projects from CFT, Detail Engineering, Commissioning, performance tests completion, settlement of any claims, execution of close out certificates including for warranty period commencement, transfer and archiving of final documentations and issuance of close out reports,
  • To carry out any other duty or task that may be assigned by hierarchical superiors.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering,
  • Experience: At least 15 years’ experience in the offshore oil & gas project with relevant experience in FEED and EPC contract execution
  • Experience of similar project during construction phase at yard will be a plus.
  • Experience within a project team: At least 5 years’ experience within large multinational taskforce team environment,
  • Track records of offshore brownfield projects,
  • Experience in offshore facilities at conceptual and pre-FEED stage is a plus.
  • Available for technical missions worldwide,
  • Familiar with Total General Specifications, Prodom, MOQ standards and relevant codes and standards
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
