GENERAL OPERATIVE

Working in partnership with a family owned waste management company, we are recruiting for hardworking General Operatives to work on the North Cave (HU15) site. This is a fantastic opportunity that offerrs £14.06ph

PLEASE NOTE – You MUST have your own transport due to the location of this position

Shift pattern / Working hours

8.30am – 5pm to start Monday to Friday.

Waste Management Operative positions will commence with immediate effect however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this. This is temp to permanent position.

Job description

·       Waste Management Operatives are responsible carrying out work that can be physically demanding.

·       You will be working on a busy waste site rcycling different types of butters, oils and liquids.

·  Working on a machine adhering to strict health and safety.

·       As you are working with food waste, equipment that you will be working with will often be dirty and will likely smell.

·       You must adhere to all Health & Safety regulations.

·      Required to unpackage allets of stock and feed them onto a recycling line

·   General housekeeping duties.

The successful candidate:

·       Previous experience working as a labourer or Waste Operative is ideal but is not essential.

·       You MUST have your own transport due to the location of this job

·       Happy to work with products that may look unpleasant at times and also bad smelling

·       Physically able to lift heavy loads

·       Reliable with good timekeeping.

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
