CODED WELDER
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business located on the outskirts of Hull for experienced Coded Welders to join their busy and expanding production team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders looking for long-term, stable work with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Shift pattern/ Working hours:
Monday to Thursday (hours to be confirmed)
Start date / Duration
The Coded Welder position will commence within start dates determined for February and interview process to commence end of January.
Job Description
We are seeking a focused and hard-working coded welder to join our team on a full - time basis. You will be working in a workshop-based fabrication environment, carrying out coded MIG welding on structural mild steel components, producing high-quality welds to recognised welding standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coded MIG Welding on structural mild steel
- Welding to approved welding procedure specifications (WPS)
- Producing fillet and multi- run welds to a high standard
- Working from engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
- Visual inspection of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Maintaining accurate workmanship and adherence to health and safety
Requirements:
- Holds valid or recent expired welding coding’s (MIG essential)
- Has proven experience in structural or heavy fabrication welding
- Can confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
- Works to a high standard of accuracy and quality
- Is reliable, punctual, and safety – conscious

- Experience within MIG/ TIG Welding 1 year plus.
