PICKING OPERATIVE

We are recruiting experienced Picking Operatives to support a busy eCommerce business through the rush of Black Friday sales and Christmas shopping based in Lacby or Stallingborough. 

Shift pattern/ Working hours:

Monday 17^th to Friday 21^st November - 9am-5pm

Monday 24^th to Friday 28^th November – 6am-6pm OR 8am-8pm

Start date / Duration

The Picking Operative roles will commence on Monday 17^th November and will last for a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks however, candidates showing excellent work ethic and abilities could be offered permanent placements.

Job Description

As a Picking Operative you will be responsible for picking orders in a busy eCommerce warehouse. Your day to day duties will include;

·       Picking orders using hand held scanners

·       Picking orders using manual order sheets

·       Packaging products

·       Attaching delivery notes

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Picking Operative you must;

• Have previous experience working as a Picking Operative in a busy warehouse environment or ideally have worked within eCommerce picking
• Be computer literate
• Have great attention to detail
• Be able to work at speed but with excellent accuracy
