GENERAL OPERATIVE

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join a well – established and growing manufacturing and distribution business. This is a hands – on role within a fast – paced environment, supporting both warehouse and production operations.

Shift Pattern / Working Hours

This role operates on a Monday to Friday shift pattern, working 7:00am – 5:00pm. No weekend work is required, offering a consistent and structured working week.

Start date / Duration

The General Operative role is available for an immediate start and offers ongoing, long – term work. It’s an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking stability within a busy and expanding company.

Job Description

As a General Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of warehouse and production activities. The role involves a mixture of manual handling, stock control, and general operational duties.

·      Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling of materials and products

·      Scanning goods and updating stock using internal systems

·      Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently

·      Supporting production and warehouse operations as required

·      Ensuing all work is completed in line with health & safety guidelines

·      Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation

·      Working closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets

The Successful Candidate:

To be considered for the position of General Operative, you must have:

·      A valid FLT Counterbalance Licence (essential)

·      Previous experience within a warehouse or production environments

·      Ability to carry out heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks

·      Ability to work effectively as apart of a team.
