BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
We are recruiting an ambitious, driven and commercially minded Business Development Manager for a well-established provider of managed print and digital workflow solutions in the East Yorkshire region.
Working Hours & Duration
The Business Development Manager role is a Permanent position offering Hybrid working within normal business hours with flexibility.
The role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This is a key role within the business, offering the opportunity to make a real impact and develop long-term partnerships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals
- Meet with potential clients, present persuasive presentations, carry out negotiations and handle objections to achieve positive outcomes
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for clients
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline
- Stay up to date with market trends and competitor activity
- Report new business progress, forecast sales and track account activity to close deals and meet targets
The Successful Candidate
To be considered for the position of Business Development Manager you must have;
- Proven experience in B2B sales or business development (technology, print, or services sector preferred)
· Good knowledge of print market and competitors, the solutions and services of the Company would be highly beneficial.
- Experienced in using Management Information Systems and a sound knowledge of all Microsoft packages
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-focused
- Confident presenting to clients and senior stakeholders
- Able to build rapport and long-term relationships
- Full UK driving licence

- Starting salary – Up to £35k dependant on experience
- Uncapped commission – based on percentage of new business
