Due to continued growth in an expanding market, we are seeking a Design Engineer to join a small Design Team. Working in an industry leading production company, you will be excelling your skills as a Design Engineer helping with projects for customers in a global market. The successful design engineer will have previously worked within a machinery build environment and have solid modelling experience.
Working in the Scarborough area Monday-Friday with an early finish on Friday's , this role is commutable from Malton, York, Pickering, Driffield, Kirkbymoorside and Whitby.
As a Design Engineer you will be:
- Using 3D modelling software
- Overseeing projects from cradle to grave
- Liaising with customers overseas
- Liaise with the manufacturing team to develop products
- Providing a detailed bill of materials to cost projects
The successful Design Engineer will have had experience in a production environment. You will have used Solidworks and possess a relative engineering qualification, ideally HNC/D level or above. Design experience is essential, while understanding a full machine build process is advantageous.
