Sales Engineer (VC11274) Scarborough, England
Our client is a growing, market leading engineering firm based in Scarborough who is looking to drive the business forwards by recruiting an experienced engineering sales consultant to join them. The successful Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating leads and revenue streams, chasing leads and converting new clients.
The role of Sales Engineer will be include:
- Contacting manufacturers in the North of England to introduce products and the business
- Generating and chasing leads over the telephone, email and face to face
- Meeting with current and prospective clients to discuss their requirements
- Liaising with team to produce competitive pricing for products and bespoke services offered
The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, ideally within precision engineering and you will enjoy networking locally to generate new business opportunities. You will be able to read and interpret engineers drawings and discuss clients requirements with confidence as well as work with the team on pricing. You will understand the need for balancing both face to face and telephone sales and will have the confidence to approach prospective clients to introduce yourself.
