A well-established leading food company based in the Wakefield area is looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with solid food experience to join the business. 

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Working across the factory attending machinery breakdowns and diagnosing faults as well as ensuring all planned and routine maintenance activities are carried out and documented on the CMMS.

• Identify opportunities for improvements to the department

• Working closely with production team, responding to machinery breakdowns electrical and mechanical, ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.
• You will be responsible for working through the planned maintenance schedule and carrying out any machinery/ wiring upgrades.
• You will also be responsible for machinery installations/ moves and modifications of new and older machinery.
• Be proactive in ensuring good health and safety on site
• Ensure that all necessary spare parts, materials and equipment are available

Basic salary in the region of £38,000 to £40,000 plus overtime.

I am really keen to see your CV if you are a time served Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of a level 3 qualification in an engineering field and food experience.  A good understanding of HACCP principles and ideally IEE qualification up to 17th edition wiring regulations would be advantageous.
