Castle engineering are working with a fast paced and dynamic food manufacturer who are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Continuous Improvement & Projects Engineer. The ideal candidate will be an electrically biased maintenance engineer who has worked within a projects related space previously and who has solid PLC programming experience.

The candidate:

• Working on a Monday to Friday days only basis you will be responsible for the management of multiple ongoing engineering projects
• You will be responsible for numerous CI projects across the plant relating to machinery upgrades, installs and improvements
• You will have excellent PLC fault finding and programming experience as well as SCADA development skills.
• From time to time you will be required to work on planned maintenance activities across the production plant.

The ideal candidate will be a time served apprentice trained maintenance electrician who has moved into a controls/ automation environment. You will be well versed with multiple PLC’s including Allen Bradley and Siemens and have demonstrable experience of working as part of an engineering projects team. The salary for this role is to £42,000 DOE
