An opportunity has arisen for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join an Established and Growing Food Manufacturer based in the Doncaster area. Whilst working in the fast paced environment you will be working alone on shift so it is vital that you have sole engineer experience and are comfortable working alone.
As an Electrically Bias Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Working on shift alone and being responsible for attending all machinery breakdowns across the production plant and rectifying all faults.
- Carrying out routine and planned maintenance activities across the plant and responsible for maintaining all production machinery
- Working from electrical and mechanical drawings to repair machinery
- Identifying recurring faults/ issues and suggesting ways to make cost effective improvements to machinery
We are looking for an Electrically Bias Maintenance Engineer, who has the following skills and experiences:
About You
- Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC electrical, BTEC level 3 in mechanical & electrical/electronic engineering).
- Experience in Food Manufacturing would be beneficial but it is not a necessity
- A good understanding of HACCP principles and ideally IEE qualification up to 17th edition wiring regulations would be advantageous.
- Confidence in ability to work alone on shift and therefore assertive with the ability to make decisions on the spot.
- A can do attitude and a strong work ethic.
Shift Details:
Working Monday – Friday on a 3 shift pattern with every 4 weeks, working a 12 hour shift on the weekend to ensure smooth running and keeping up with PPMs.
