An innovative and leading food company based near Selby is recruiting for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast growing food production business.  This is a Monday to Friday days role.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be working as the sole engineer on shift and will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager and responsible for:

• Electrical maintenance and enhancement of all Production and Process machinery
• Provide reactive and planned maintenance to maximise productivity at all times, keeping downtime to a minimum
• Have experience of chilled and/or extrusion manufacturing (desirable)
• Be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Have PLC experience
• Have excellent planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
• You must be able to think on your feet and quickly diagnose electrical faults and be able to work proactively with a can-do attitude towards your work. 

I am really keen to see your CV if you are a time served multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias and hold a minimum of a level 3 engineering qualification and electrical qualifications/certificates. Good knowledge of SAP Planned maintenance system is beneficial. You will have an extensive background in a fast-paced production environment with both mechanical and electrical machinery, good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels and build strong working relationships. Strong communication skills are essential as you will support the Maintenance Manager in driving a culture of continuous improvement forward.

Salary is advertised as up to £38,000 depending on experience. Free on-site parking and a great company and team to join.
