An established leading food company based in York is looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.
The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
- Working across the factory as part of the team attending production breakdowns.
- Working through the planned maintenance schedule and carrying out any machinery/ wiring upgrades.
- Working through upgrades and installations of new and older machinery.
- Maintaining all aspects of the site from structural repairs to full maintenance of all machinery and equipment.
In the role of Maintenance Engineer, you will be working 1-2 days a week, as this is a part-time role. The role involves working closely with the Technical Manager to ensure all aspects of food safety and hygiene are complied with, and tasks are completed in a timely manner.
I am really keen to see your CV if you are a time served Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of a level 3 qualification in an engineering field. Good knowledge of food manufacturing equipment is desirable and the ability to maintain mechanical as well as electrical is essential. You will like to work at speed, be able to think on your feet, be a creative and diligent Maintenance Engineer.
