A well-established food company based in East Yorkshire is looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join the business. This role is working on a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm shift.

The successful Site Engineer will be responsible for:

• Ensuring operations run smoothly and that downtime is minimised across two production sites
• Machinery installations/moves/modifications including some fabrication work
• Attending breakdowns and diagnosing both mechanical and electrical faults
• Set up and maintain maintenance schedules relevant to each individual machine/process
• Carry out general maintenance activities and repairs to the site and its services

The right Site Engineer will be a time served engineer who has both electrical and mechanical skills and experience and ideally has worked with refrigeration previously. A background in agriculture, milling and general manufacturing would be beneficial. The salary is advertised as £32k, this is made up of circa £30k basic, plus any potential additional paid overtime.
