A well-established leading food company based in the Goole area is looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join the business on a contractual basis.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Electrical maintenance and enhancement of all Production and Process machinery
• Provide reactive and planned maintenance to maximise productivity at all times, keeping downtime to a minimum
• The supervision and direction of apprentices as required to allocated tasks in a structured manner to ensure that work is carried out safely and effectively
• You must be able to think on your feet and quickly diagnose electrical faults.

The duration of the Maintenance Engineer contract is 3 months, with a possible view to go permanent. Various shift patterns are available.

I am really keen to see your CV if you are a time served Maintenance Engineer and hold a minimum of a level 3 engineering qualification and have supporting electrical qualifications. Good knowledge of SAP Planned maintenance system is key. You will have an extensive background in a fast-paced production environment in both mechanical and electrical machinery and good interpersonal skills, with the ability to take direction.
